Nigeria’s COVID-19 51,905 as NCDC confirms 601 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that the nation now has 51,905 cases of COVID-19 after recording 601 new infections.

The NCDC revealed in a post on Saturday, on its Twitter page that the death toll from the coronavirus pandemic is now 997 with 38,767 discharged patients.

Lagos topped the list with 401 new infections, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was next on the list as it added 37 new infections to what it already had, Oyo with 19 and Ondo with cases. Abia, Enugu and Kaduna racked 13 cases each. On the bottom of the list are two states, Ekiti and Imo, with 2 cases each.
