The 2019 Otukpo children carnival has ended with the emergence of miss Ondo
state as the winner of the 12th edition of beauty pageant.

Speaking, sponsor of the carnival and member representing Otukpo/Ohimini at
the National Assembly, Lady Blessing Onyeche Onuh, thanked the people of her
constituency for voting her to represent them.
Lady Onuh who assured not to disappoint them but rather give them quality
representation , advised all not to be deterred form whatever they want to do
in life but that with determination they can achieve anything they want to.
In his remark the husband of honorable’ Dr Innocent Onuh said the purpose
of the carnival is to give the children good exposure to the world while using
it as an avenue to showcase the culture of the idoma people to the wide world.

In a separate remark the elder brother of lady Blessing Onuh, Mr Victor
Odumu described the area as a multicultural one saying that the carnival would
highlight and promote while raising talents.

Earlier in the welcome address the president of the Otukpo children
carnival miss Emily Onuh thanking all for their support to their family over
the years and for electing Lady Blessing Onuh, assured that the carnival would
continue.

High point of the occasion was performance from various schools in the
constituency along with the little miss otukpo carnival beauty pageant amongst
others.

The occasion also witnessed the distribution of gifts such as over 5,000 school bags, clothing items such as wrappers, shoes , sandals, tee shirts to parents, children and all for free and for their performances in the various actives during the carnival.
The Disney character of Lady Blessing Onuh ( BERELLA )was also unveiled.
