TOPIC: DEALING WITH RECURRENT NEGATIVE CYCLES
SCRIPTURE: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; COLOSSIANS 2:14.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every repeated negative cycle or pattern of your life and family has been dealt with on the Cross of Calvary.
A major manifestation of curses is repeated negative patterns or cycles.
Sometime ago, a woman testified in our church of how she had an accident in the month of March in a particular year. That accident broke her leg. Still in the month of March in another year, she had another accident and that accident caused another severe damage to her.
So, the moment the month of March was approaching in the third year, she began to fear.
Then something happened: in one of the church services, I gave a word of knowledge saying, “There is a woman here that is afraid of the Month of March. You don’t have to be afraid of March. You will not die in the month of March”. Immediately, that cycle of fear and calamity was broken.
You see, it was the devil that put the cycle or history that brought fear.
Today, there are families where people usually die at a certain time, a certain month or experience a certain pattern of disease. For example, there can be a situation where the family members usually suffer and die of a particular kind of cancer, and the people become afraid.
One day, a young lady told me that her mother died of a cancer, her elder sister died of the same kind of cancer. Her mother died at the age forty five; her sister died at the age twenty five, and she was already twenty five. So, she began to feel the symptoms.
And as I was about to pray her, the Lord told me that it was the spirit of fear that was bringing back that ugly cycle.
The good news is, every repeated negative circle or pattern of your life and family has been dealt with on the Cross of Calvary (Colossians 2:14).
Today, I curse every negative cycle or history that is the root cause of fear in your life and in your family. I declare it is broken right now in the name of Jesus.

- Identify negative circle or pattern in your life or family?
- Make demands on the shed Blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary to deal with it.
PRAYER: Lord, I make demands on the shed Blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary, and I decree that every negative cycle plaguing my life and family is destroyed in Jesus’ Name.
