President Tinubu Appoints Former EFCC Boss, Nuhu Ribadu, 7 Others as Special Advisers

President Bola Tinubu has confirmed the appointments of special advisers.

Tinubu has appointed Dele Alake as his special adviser on special duties, communications and strategy.

A former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, was named special adviser on security, while Wale Edun was appointed special adviser, monetary policies.

Their appointment was announced on Thursday in a statement signed by Abiodun Oladunjoye, director of information, state house.

In total, the president appointed eight persons as special advisers.

Yau Darazo was named special adviser, political and intergovernmental affairs, while Olu Verheijen has been appointed special adviser on energy.

The president also appointed Zachaeus Adedeji as special adviser on revenue, while John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu was named special adviser on industry, trade and investment while Salma Ibrahim Anas was appointed special adviser on health.

Their appointments are with immediate effect.
